Snorkel
Bathtub Beach Reef

Summer 2001

We are fortunate to live so close to Bathtub Beach Reef. Worm reefs are found all over the world but Bathtub Beach is one of the largest and most accessible living worm reefs.
The Florida Oceanographic Society is offering Snorkeling adventures for children (7 & up) and adults. We will meet under the gazebo at Bathtub Beach where we will learn about the worm reef and discuss some of the basics of snorkeling. Then it is into the water were we will explore the reef and the different animals and plants that live there.
There are Martin County Lifeguards on duty at the beach during the snorkeling adventure. Come and join us to learn about the reef, meets its inhabitants close up and have fun!
